Mentto is a mentorship platform that connects students with experienced alumni mentors to provide guidance and support for study abroad journeys. Our service includes:

• Mentor-mentee matching services
• Communication and scheduling tools
• Educational resources and guidance
• Community features and networking
• Payment processing for premium services

3. User Accounts and Registration

3.1 Account Creation

To use our service, you must create an account and provide accurate, complete, and current information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

3.2 User Responsibilities

As a user, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and truthful information
• Maintain the security of your account
• Use the service in compliance with applicable laws
• Respect other users and maintain professional conduct
• Not share inappropriate or harmful content
• Not engage in fraudulent or deceptive practices

3.3 Third-Party Sign-In and Calendar Access (Google)

If you choose to sign in with Google and/or sync your Google Calendar, you authorize Mentto to request and use Google permissions strictly to deliver scheduling-related features. These permissions may include:

• View and edit events on all of your calendars
• See, edit, share, and permanently delete all the calendars that you can access using Google Calendar

We use these permissions to create, update, and manage mentorship session events at your direction, prevent scheduling conflicts, and reflect your availability. We do not use Google data for advertising. You can revoke access at any time via your Mentto account settings or your Google Account permissions page.

Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

4. Mentor-Mentee Relationships

4.1 Nature of Mentorship

Mentorship relationships facilitated through our platform are for educational and guidance purposes only. Mentors provide advice and support based on their personal experiences and knowledge.

4.2 Professional Boundaries

All interactions must maintain professional boundaries. Any inappropriate behavior, harassment, or violation of our community guidelines will result in immediate account suspension.

4.3 No Guarantees

We do not guarantee specific outcomes from mentorship relationships. Success depends on individual effort, circumstances, and various external factors beyond our control.

5. Payment Terms

5.1 Subscription Fees

Some features of our service may require payment. All fees are clearly displayed before purchase and are non-refundable unless otherwise specified.

5.2 Billing and Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings.

5.3 Refunds

Refunds are provided at our discretion and in accordance with our refund policy. Contact our support team for refund requests.

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Our Content

All content on our platform, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is owned by Mentto or our licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

6.2 User Content

You may not use our service for any unlawful purpose or to solicit others to perform unlawful acts. Prohibited activities include:

• Attempting to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Harassing, abusing, or harming other users
• Sharing false or misleading information
• Commercial use without permission
• Spamming or unsolicited communications

9. Disclaimers and Limitations

9.1 Service Availability

We strive to maintain service availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mentto shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may also terminate your account at any time by contacting our support team.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.
